PETAL PEOPLE PRESS - GAME, SET, MATCH CARD
Since I live at the foot of the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York, I do a lot of hiking. I found a yellow Trout Lily blossom last spring on one of those hikes and was charmed by this sweet flower. I grabbed a few and tucked them into the flower press that I always carry with me in my car. The way the flower pressed looked like the swish of a skirt in motion. (I don't play tennis but I am a pickle ball devotee!)
This card was designed from real pressed flowers and herbs that I pressed then arranged using the organic shape of each botanical. I also used the blossoms of Iris for the torso and Thyme for her hair. A skeleton leaf was the perfect tennis racquet.
