ST. INNOCENT 'MOMTAZI' PINOT NOIR 2021
From one of the OGs of Oregon, visionary winemaker Mark Vlossak. In general 2019 produced wines more balanced towards terroir specific flavors. Momtazi is their most textural and umami-driven wine, with lovely aromas of spice, smoky earth, and dried black fruit. It is quite elegant on the mid-palate with the finish blossoming to more floral notes with hints of cocoa powder. This will pair beautifully with winter stews, roasted vegetables, cassoulet and mushroom dishes.
