The 2018 Musar Rosé is a blend of 57% Obaideh and 40% Merwah, two indigenous Lebanese white grapes thought to be related to Chardonnay and Semillon respectively. About 3% Cinsault is added for color during the press. Complex and concentrated, Chateau Musar Rosé shows at its best after several hours’ ‘breathing time’, and should be served ‘cellar cool’ at about 59 degrees Farenheit. The citrusy flavours excel with canapés, olives, nuts, seafood and Provençal dishes.
