TERRANOBLE 'CA1' CARMÈNÉRE 2021

This Chilean Carménère presents a deep, crimson hue and offers an inviting aroma of ripe red berries, spice, and earthy undertones. On the palate, it delivers rich, luscious flavors of blackcurrant and plum, with a hint of pepper, all wrapped up in a velvety texture.

Carménère for most of the 20th century was thought be Merlot and just 'different' in Chile. Terranoble established itself in 1993 as a Merlot producer. In 1994 DNA testing revealed Carménère's true identity throughout Chile, and Terranoble was quickly forced to pivot to become a Carménère specialist.
